Style Your Stand: Bakery Edition

We couldn’t be more excited to introduce our new “Style Your Stand” blog series, where we will feature a handful of fellow female makers who create high-quality items that perfectly accessorize each of our kid stands/storefronts. Our hope is that you will love these shops as much as we do, and will support their businesses, either through a purchase or a (completely free!) follow, share, like, or comment on social media. As small businesses, getting this type of support means the world to us. We hand-pick each of the small, USA-based businesses we feature; and we have personally reached out to connect with each of the shop owners. They are incredibly kind; they offer unique, high-quality items; and they all provide great customer service. #shopsmall

Now let’s style this sweet kid's bakery storefront!

I know my daughter loves nothing more in this world than a nice warm chocolate chip cookie, or really, any sweet treat at any temperature. But her second favorite thing is getting to help out in the kitchen when it’s time to mix up some ingredients for baked goodies.

Whether you are using your bakery stand for imaginative play or real baked goods, your little one will feel like a real baker with the right setup. I found the perfect bundle of accessories to go with your bakery stand, and they are all from fellow Etsy sellers and women in business! Go check out their pages, share the love, and give them a follow.

Pop over to @oohlalollipop and you will find the most adorable (and realistic!) felt food and toys. If you prefer high-quality, handmade toys that will last, you will find them in Brenda's shop. Brenda is a self-taught sewist, designs her own patterns, and has clearly become a master at her craft.

Every budding baker needs a hat and apron; and nobody does cute, yet sophisticated designs like Laura from @lauramichellekids! Her chic kids’ shop is full of personalized sweaters, cutting boards, and so much more.

Jeanne, from @twinsoulstudio, specializes in custom stamps and design. The stamps in Jeanne's shop are perfect for those young entrepreneurs who decide to get in the kitchen and host a bake sale to make some summer spending cash. The added touch of a hand-stamped bag to package the baked goods would be an incredible way to take your child's storefront to the next level!

Need it yesterday? Life is crazy and we know how fast things can sneak up. Here are some of our favorite Amazon finds to accompany your little bakery. Click on each picture to order yours today.

Our products are all hand-crafted with love, and with the hope that they will spark creativity and passion in whomever uses them. The idea behind our kid's storefronts is that the signs are interchangeable and customizable, so that the possibilities are limitless. Get the fun started with this bakery storefront, or add to your current stand with a new sign.

We would love to see how your little ones use their stand. So please follow us on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook, and then post a pic of your child's storefront setup and tag us in it! Let their imaginations run wild!
